Happy Friday everyone!!! & guess what you guys?! I got a NEW TATTOO!!
Before you freak out with excitement (or maybe disappointment), let me tell you this technically isn’t a real tattoo. You may have seen a little sneak peek in a photo from some of my last few posts, the Valentine’s Day Outfits post and Valentine’s Day Makeup Look post. But, this is actually a temporary tattoo, but not just any temporary tattoo. I tried out the semi-permanent tattoos from Inkbox.

What comes in your kit:
-Instructions
-Alcohol Wipe
-Black Gloves
-Pre-Moistened Cloth
-Tattoo
How it works:
The ink sinks into the top layer of your skin where it reacts with organic compounds to change your skin’s color. I think of it as similar to a henna tattoo, where it gets darker over time. Inkbox ink is safe on the skin, has no pain, and it also made from all natural ingredients!
My Tattoo
I have been wanting a real tattoo on my sidearm for a while now and already have one in my mind. I searched the Inkbox pre-made tattoos and couldn’t find one similar to what I wanted, so I decided to do a ‘create your own’ tattoo. I searched online for a .png (image with a transparent background) that would work in their tattoo creator, and after searching for a while, I found one that isn’t really what I wanted but has a similar size and design, so I figured I would give it a try! They have just added tons of new tattoos and now there is a similar one to what I want – (go figure, right?). Maybe I’ll have to try it out again before getting my real one!
REVIEW
So, this tattoo lasted about 12 days before I decided to scrub it off because it was looking crazy, but I would say it looked decent for about 10 days. It definitely lasts longer than a regular tattoo, so I really like this idea! Even if you’re not wanting a real tattoo, this is cool to try out just to have something for a little bit! Everyone that saw the tattoo thought it was real, even when it was wearing off, so that’s a plus! Overall, I would definitely recommend trying them out! Don’t forget to take advantage of their $10 OFF deal on your first tattoo!

Until next time,

This is the coolest thing ever! I’ve been debating on if I want a tattoo or not because I’m afraid I won’t like it when it’s on and this is perfect to be able to try it! It looks completely real on you!

Sounds fun. And ten years ago, I’d have done it right away. I still might. I was at work when I watched your video so I could have missed the answer, but I wonder why yours is much paler than the ones shown on their website?

That is a good question- I just looked at their website again and the ones on there do look much darker!! When it was fully developed it looked pretty dark for about one day! Maybe they don’t want them super dark because real tattoos fade over time, so it might make it more realistic? Good question! Thanks for reading/watching!

Getting a tattoo is definitely a hard decision and it’s permanent. Wish I would have tried this before getting a few of the ones I regret lol
