Day 20 (Sun 1/22/17):

Breakfast: Coffee with almond milk and cinnamon, Coffee Chocolate RxBar

Lunch: Tuna lettuce Wraps: Canned tuna with chopped up cherry tomatoes, red onion and salt & pepper on romaine lettuce leafs

Dinner:   Plantain Chips with Avocado

WHOLE 30: Week 3

Day 13 (Sun 1/15/17):

Breakfast: 1 Piece -Aidell’s Apple Chicken Sausage (Costco) and a handful of berries

Lunch:  Finished my Starbucks Cold Brew from the day before.  Went out to Brunch for a friend’s Birthday at a local Restaurant.  I ordered a sparkling water with lime and a grilled chicken breast with a side of broccolini (no butter)

Dinner:  Had some people over for the Green Bay Packer Game (was an amazing game), so I just grazed while everyone else had other snacks.  I ate mixed nuts, berries, leftover sweet potatoes, leftover plantain chips with avocado

WHOLE 30: Week 2

 Day 6 (Sun 1/8/17):

Breakfast: Sweet Plantain, Apple, Bacon Breakfast Hash – added in some Aidell’s Apple Chicken Sausage (Costco), and fried up an egg over top! My fiance loved this!!

Lunch: Teriyaki Broccoli with mushrooms and onions – threw some broccoli in a pan along with some sliced mushrooms and chopped onions.  I then added Coconut Aminos Teriyaki Sauce for the teriyaki flavor!  YUM

Drink: Mango Kombucha, No Afternoon Snack Today

Dinner:  Venison Taco Lettuce Wraps -cooked up some ground venison meat, added homemade taco seasoning , chopped up some cherry tomatoes, onion and avocado and ate it on romaine lettuce leaves

WHOLE 30: Week 1

New Year, New ME!! This is the first year I have ever actually tried to accomplish one of my new year’s resolutions.  I want to get in shape and be healthy, not just for my wedding this year, but overall!

I will be doing the Whole30 diet for the next 30 days. If you don’t know what the Whole 30 diet is, check out the Whole 30 website.  It’s basically cutting out grains, sugars, dairy, alcohol, preservatives and legumes – basically eating whole foods for 30 days.  Seems tough right?dsc00297

I will be doing daily food diary for the next month and will post at the end of each week.  I may even sneak in some videos here and there!  I have linked all of the recipes that are online for everyone to see, and I will also let you know if they didn’t work out or if I hated them.  (One thing I am not writing down is the amount of water I am drinking, however my goal is to drink 72+ oz of water each day!) Wish me luck…
