Happy SATURDAY! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE and it’s open to the PUBLIC, so anyone can shop! I wanted to put together a post that will help you shop the sale, plus what I bought and my picks.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Every year around summertime Nordstrom has their Anniversary Sale. The sale is a preview of their Fall/Winter pieces that are on major sale- typically around 40% off. I know it’s crazy to think about Fall already, but there are a lot of pieces that are also great transitional items. Basics are always on major sale during this sale and they’re one of my fav pieces to shop. In addition to clothing, other departments have sales too like home, beauty and jewelry.
Last year I ended up being near a local Nordstrom and was able to shop in store for the sale, but this year I shopped online. I have been sharing a few things on my Instagram and LiketoKnow.It, but am not covering the sale as I normally do. Mainly because I’m much busier with a baby to watch, and I want to make sure that what I’m posting is beneficial and that I’m not spending time putting together collages that people don’t care to shop.
Why I’m Sharing This Sale
A lot of bloggers are sharing this sale, and everyone has amazing finds to share! That being said, it’s hard to shop through one blogger’s affiliate links. I have talked about this in the past but I just wanted to remind you why I share this sale. Not only do I LOVE the sale, I also love showing you my finds. It’s a fun way of interacting with my followers and showing you how to style fun pieces. When I share an item with you and you click through and purchase anything from that link, I get a little kick back. This reassures me that what I’m sharing is worth my time and effort to put the outfits and styles together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Another thing I want to remind you is that you don’t NEED any of this! I never want you to feel that you HAVE to purchase an item just because I share it. I want to be that personal shopper for you to find you the best deals, but you can take it from there and make the decision to purchase or not. I try to stick to more staple pieces in this sale because I know they’re worth buying because they’ll rarely ever go out of style. Don’t get me wrong, if there’s a unique fun piece, I may pick that up too, but I mainly try to stick to staples. I am also including some baby items this year!
