I wanted to have this post be all of the new skin care items I’ve been trying, but after putting all of my items in here that I wanted to talk about… I realized I have WAYY too much to review, so I figured I would break it up into categories.
Up first, new masks I have been trying lately….
Origins mask
This seemed to really help clean out my pores… I love charcoal masks, and I’ve been trying quite a few lately. Â I am definitely going to continue using this one.
Sephora Sheet Masks
these are awesome! Â Check out my post here for full details on these sheet masks.
GlamGlow Gravity Mug Firming Mask
This is a peel off mask and makes you look like the tin man when it’s on 😉 Â I did like the effects of this mask, but GlamGlow is pricey. Â I wasn’t in love with this, so I would most likely not purchase again. Â I prefer the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment best.
Lush Masks
Oatifix: This is a fresh face mask that smells like you could eat it- and you actually can! Â The only downside to this mask is that it does not have a long shelf life. Â I kept mine in the fridge. Â Since it only lasts about 6 weeks, you have to use it regularly to get good use out of it. Â I personally like switching up my masks, so fresh masks aren’t my best choice, but I did definitely love this one.
Cup O’ Coffee: Â O.M.G. this stuff is amazing! I went to Lush looking for a different mask, but they were out, so I decided to try this instead. Â It works as a body and face mask and with the caffeine, it just wakes up your skin! Â I love using this in the morning to help wake me up.
Mask set – Peter Thomas Roth
I am slowly working my way through these masks, so I don’t have much to report just yet, but I can’t wait to try these. Â I am currently trying the Irish Moor Mud Mask (black tube) and love it. Â It is not a drying mask, but definitely helps to clean out the pores.
L’oreal Pure Clay Masque
I am actually really pleased with this mask. Â It really cleanses the pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and cleansed. Â This really helps when my skin is really acting up.
Say Yes to Grapefruit Pore Perfection Brightening Peel
I actually hated this the first time I tried it – it felt like it did nothing, and it spread onto my face very uneven. Â I still decided to give it a few more tries, and I actually grew to like it. Â It tingles a bit on the face and you can tell it’s working to brighten it. Â As far as a “peel” goes, it doesn’t seem to remove dead skin or work like any other peels I have used before. Â I am still not in love with it, so I’m not sure if I will repurchase.
Coming up in part 2- Face Toners, Micellar Water and more…
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these and what your thoughts are.
