Jouer Spring Collection | First Impressions, Swatches & Review

Happy Wednesday! If you read my Beauty Q&A blog post, I said that a high end makeup brand I have been dying to try out soon is Jouer Cosmetics. I finally splurged and got some of their new products from their Spring Collection! I’m so excited to share my thoughts on these new products with you!

Lip Cremes & Lip Toppers

I purchased the Lip Creme in Rose Gold and Blush, and the Lip Topper in Skinny Dip. In the new Spring Collection, there is also a Rose Gold Lip Topper, however I decided to get the Rose Gold Lip Creme instead.

In the photos below, I swatched the 3 colors in direct sunlight, partial sunlight and indoors.  I also show the Skinny Dip Lip Topper over the Blush Lip Creme in the 3rd photo (indoor lighting photo).

First Impressions:

When I opened up these lip products, the first thing I noticed was the smell.  They smell like a vanilla cupcake and I love it! The lip cremes are very matte and are extremely long lasting! I wore the Blush Lip Creme one day for almost 14 hours without it budging (with light food and drink). I think the Rose Gold Lip Creme is the perfect amount of color and glitter. The lip topper has a bit too much glitter for my everyday taste, but it is perfect to glitz up your favorite lip gloss or lipstick.

Overall Review:

If you haven’t tried these lip cremes from Jouer, I would definitely recommend trying them! The Rose Gold Lip Creme is by far my favorite, so if I had to choose one of the 3 lip products I purchased, I would go with that one! Long lasting, great pigment, and beautiful colors on any skin tone!

In addition to the lip cremes and toppers, Jouer’s new spring collection features a new eyeshadow palette and some new powder highlighters.

The highlighter shades are Topaz– (peachy gold), Citrine – (a true gold), Rose Quartz– (a champagne pink), and lastly Rose Gold – (true rose gold).

The new eyeshadow palette, Springtime in Paris is a highly pigmented palette with rich plums, mauves and warm nude colors.
