The Palette
I purchased the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette, and surprisingly this is my first Naked palette from Urban Decay. I’ve used the palettes before but have never owned one myself. I specifically targeted the Naked Heat palette because of the orange look we were doing for the Beauty Mix collab.
Thoughts
I can honestly say that every color in this palette is so beautiful and they all go so well together. None of the colors are too similar, which is also a plus. While using the shadows on my eyes, they are very pigmented and have great color payoff, but when swatching them, it didn’t apply as nicely. The only down side of this palette that I have noticed is that it is very powdery when you dip a brush in it and has a lot of fall out. This made me think of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette where there was some controversy over the shadows, but it definitely is not a major issue to me. If the color looks good once applied, then that’s all I care about!
Swatches + Video
I created a quick little video of the swatches that I’ve included after the photos below. My favorite colors are probably the duo chromes just because they are so unique! From left to right in the palette is how I swatched them on my arm… and a little on my shirt too, but who’s looking?
