It’s HERE!!!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (aka #NSale #nordysale #bestsaleoftheyear) is one of the best and most successful sales of the year! I put together this post to help you learn more about the sale and be as prepared as you can so that you get all the best deals! I’ll be covering the sale as much as I can, especially because I am a cardmember and will be in Chicago to shop early on Friday! Be sure you’re following me on Instagram for some behind the scenes!
One thing to note right away is that items sell out extremely quick, so that’s why I want to make this shopping experience as easy for you as I can! If you are a cardholder, you have early access to the sale and can shop starting on Friday. If you are not a cardholder you will have to wait until the sale is open to the public on July 20th. Typically Nordstrom restocks items before the sale opens to the public, but last year they did not, so I don’t want to push getting a credit card, but if you want the best deals before they sell out, that’s your best bet! Don’t worry though – If you’re shopping the public sale, I’ll be keeping updated items on a dedicated page for you!
I put together a dedicated page so that I’m not posting too much about the sale because I know some of you are not fans. I will be sharing what I got at the bottom of this post too!
WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
Every year in July Nordstrom has their Anniversary Sale. The sale is a preview of their Fall/Winter pieces that are on major sale- typically around 40% off. I know it’s crazy to think about Fall already, but there are a lot of pieces that are also great transitional items. Basics are always on major sale during this sale and they’re one of my fav pieces to shop. In addition to clothing, other departments have sales too like home, beauty and jewelry.
As I said above, I’ll be updating my Nordstrom Picks page on the blog with updates, as well as on Instagram. As I did last year, there will also be a try on haul uploaded to my YouTube channel before the sale goes public. Be sure you are subscribed to my blog and YouTube channel and follow me on Instagram to keep updated!
WHEN IS THE SALE?
Early Access: July 12 at 12:30pm EST (11:30am CST) – July 18
Public Access: July 19- August 4 (prices go back up August 5)
In order to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale early (Early Access), you have to be a cardholder – either debit or credit. Sadly, they do not offer the debit card anymore, which is what I have. I do not want to promote you going into debt and getting a credit card to shop this sale early, but if you want early access, that is how you can get it. As I said above, early access items sold out last year and some were not restocked when the public access went live. I am hoping that is not the case this year, but you never know.

WHY AM I SHARING THIS SALE?
A lot of bloggers are sharing this sale, and everyone has amazing finds to share! That being said, it’s hard to shop through one blogger’s affiliate links. I have talked about this in the past but I just wanted to remind you why I share this sale. Not only do I LOVE the sale, I also love showing you my finds. It’s a fun way of interacting with my followers and showing you how to style fun pieces.
