Hi friends, I can’t believe it’s already been 10 MONTHS since Layla was born…. like how?! I’ve had this post as a draft for quite some time and finally wanted to finish it! I will be sharing some baby favorites posts as a series soon too, but let’s first chat MAMA and postpartum. I shared a Postpartum Update (4th Trimester) blog post a while back that goes more in depth on my PP journey, but for this post I wanted to specifically share my must-have products for postpartum.
If you’re a follower reading this and it doesn’t quite relate to you in your current life, share it with someone who you may think would find it useful!
I found out near the end of pregnancy that I would be having a c-section, but at first I prepared myself for a vaginal delivery, so I wanted to share recommendations for both below, plus sharing some nursing favs too!

Vaginal Delivery:
These were all items that were recommended by friends, family and followers! I had quite a few of these ready to go before we heard we needed a cesarean, but some of these also worked well for post c-section.
Cesarean Delivery:
The stretch mark oil can also be used for a vaginal delivery, but I had to put it on this one because it played a major role in my pregnancy and postpartum care! I lathered it on day and night while pregnant, and then used it on stretch marks and rubbed it into my c-section scar daily once postpartum.
Nursing Must-Haves:
Whether you’re pumping, breastfeeding or both, below are my recommendations. I struggled with pumping and producing enough breast milk in the beginning (more on that in my Postpartum Journey story), but eventually ended up close to exclusively breastfeeding.
The Haaka ladybugs were a game changer for me, especially in the beginning! The regular Haaka did not work for me personally, but these saved me overnight and it was what we used as a “top off” bottle before bed too and she slept the longest stretches that way!!
I’ll share more about bottles, etc. that we loved in a future post, but if there’s anything specifically you’d like to see, let me know in the comments below.
SHOP all of my maternity/postpartum favs from Amazon in one place HERE!
Everyone is different and every baby is different, but I’m hoping you found this somewhat helpful when it comes to postpartum with your babe! If you did find it helpful, be sure to share it so others can benefit as well!
