The Denim Jacket Trend | Style Sundays

Happy Sunday! Sorry for the lack of posts this past week. It’s been a busy past couple of weeks, but I have a few things I’ve been working on for you guys coming up soon!

This week’s ‘Style Sunday’ is going to be a bit different. I thought I would change it up a bit in order not to bore you with the outfits of the day posts every week. I’m thinking I will do a monthly recap, or whenever I feel I have enough of a variety of outfits to showcase. As always, you can see my OOTD’s on my Instagram: @itsmekelsie22.

Today’s post will be all about denim/jean jackets! There are so many different jean jackets to choose from and so many different ways to style them. Below, I am showing off several different styles and ways to wear each one!

First off, let’s start with the Classic Denim Jacket. You can wear this with casual attire or more dressy attire!  I like to pair mine with a t-shirt and leggings or a cute maxi dress.

  

My favorite shirt to wear with a casual denim jacket is a striped shirt!

Up next, we have the Casual Boyfriend Style Denim Jacket. There are endless ways to wear this jacket.  I like to pair it with a casual tee and leggings or black pants.

Next up, we have the Drawstring Hood, Grey and Denim Jacket. This is such a cute, yet casual jacket! Perfect for a casual night out or running errands. I suggest pairing this one with some loafers, jeans and a white tee. Throw on a black ball cap if you wanna add a little extra! 😉

A Jean Jacket Vest is perfect for layering! Goes great with a t-shirt, long-sleeved top, or even over a maxi dress like the one below with Mimi Ikonn.

Lastly, I want to talk about embellished jean jackets. This is a huge trend that’s coming back around! I love the look of floral embroidery or patches on denim jackets.  I’ve found a few great options below.
