Happy FriYAY!!!! Less than TWO WEEKS away from Halloween!! Do you have your costume picked out yet?! If not, the next 2 weeks, we will be sharing Halloween looks on our blogs for Beauty Mix! I can’t wait to show you what’s in store for next week, but FIRST, on to this week’s look! I have seen this look around for so long, but haven’t ever attempted it myself! Here’s my take on a Deer Makeup Look for Halloween.
{If you don’t know what the Beauty Mix Series is, a few other beauty bloggers, Jasmine, Ashleigh, Lily and I have collaborated to do a makeup look each week based on a certain theme/color! You can check out all of our collaborations HERE!}
The Look:
This look is using all makeup products and no costume paints or anything like that! I decided to go with a more simpler and easy look for my first Halloween look! I found some antlers to go along with this, but they were not cute and when I showed my husband what look I wanted to do, his first thought was “Fawn have the white spots and fawn do not have antlers”. So, I decided to go with the “hot buns” as ears and call it a day! I prefer them over the antlers anyway!
Â
The trickiest part of this look (for me) was doing the “inner wing/cat eye” because my eyes are a bit wrinkled right there, so it was hard for the felt tip liner to get in there. I did try a regular liner and a gel liner, but the felt tip worked the best!
I threw on a fur vest over a black tee and then put my hair in the hot buns and I was done!! Overall, this look probably took about 20 minutes! As you may see in the video, I did have to start over because I didn’t like the eye look, so it took me much longer than it should’ve, but 20 minutes is about what it should take!
