Fall/Winter Outerwear Picks Under $100

I don’t normally prep for Winter this early, but apparently Wisconsin has a mind of it’s own and winter has already arrived! If you haven’t been following along on Instagram, Wisconsin got hit with quite a bit of snow over the last week and decided to skip fall altogether! 😉 I recently snagged an amazing winter coat that I thought would not be able to be worn for quite a while. Little did I know that I would need it a week after I got it. Regardless if you have winter weather already or not, it’s time to start thinking about winter jackets.

If you saw my recent Amazon try on haul, you’ve already seen the jacket above, but I wanted to round up my fall and winter outerwear picks that are under $100!

Teddy Coats – this has been a newer craze recently and I’m here for it. They are typically an oversized fit with fuzzy, shaggy material.

Belted Coats– this can be a wide variety of jackets, but I’m talking more about the duster type, longer coats that are belted. I have found quite a few over the past few years that I love.

Trench Coats – a loose belted, double-breasted raincoat with a hint of military style. This is definitely more of a fall coat in my opinion.

Puffer Jackets – are exactly as they sound – you’ll look like the Michelin man, but cuter. 😉 They have filling that is puffy between stitching – sometimes in a quilted pattern and sometime in a more straight line striped pattern. If you feel like they can make you look larger, opt for the ones with less filling and are longer. 

Funnel Neck Coats – like the more popular J-Crew jacket, I’ve found a few dupes linked below.

Faux Fur – Usually an open coat, cozy and a little more oversized. I love wearing this to dress up a casual outfit, or it’s great to pair with a fancier dress.

Open Sweater Coats – my FAV coat that I wear all the time in the fall is the one in the collage above – it’s a little too chilly for winter, but I had to include this one because it’s my favorite!
