Happy Friday and Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!! Coming at you from Hawaii today. Follow along on Instagram for behind the scenes of our trip. I’ve had minimal wi-fi for my computer, so I’m just sharing one blog post while on this trip. If you’ve been following me for a while, I shared a temporary, but long lasting tattoo review on the blog and YouTube a couple years ago. Since then, the brand has changed up the formula and the way you apply the tattoo, so I wanted to do an updated review and share it again!
You can find the last post on my INKBOX tattoo review HERE.
INKBOX HOW-TO Video
Watch the video below for a How-To & to see the results!
What comes in your INKBOX tattoo kit:
-Instructions
-Tattoo with For Now Ink
-Protective Seal
How it works:
The ink sinks into the top layer of your skin where it reacts with organic compounds to change your skin’s color. I think of it as similar to a henna tattoo, where it gets darker over time. Inkbox ink is safe on the skin, has no pain, and it also made from all natural ingredients!
How Long Does the Tattoo Last?
As you’ll see in the video, the tattoo can last up to 2 weeks, but it all depends on the area you place your tattoo. The first week is prime time for the tattoo color. My tattoos lasted about 2 weeks exactly. Inside your INKBOX kit, there is an infographic on what spots last longer.
My Thoughts
I love this idea for two reasons:
One – it’s perfect if you’re looking to get a tattoo, but want to check placement.
Two– if you don’t want a permanent tattoo, it’s a great way to change up your look with new temporary (yet long-lasting) tattoos.
If you’re looking for either of the above, then definitely give it a try and see if you like it. You can even upload your own design too, which is pretty cool. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below & if you’re not already subscribed to my YouTube channel, you can do so HERE.
Thank you so much for watching/reading!
MAHALO!
