I am so excited to share that I received another VoxBox from Influenster for testing purposes. (My opinions in this post are my own.) This time, I received the Hourglass VoxBox. Inside the box came the Hourglass Confession Ultra slim high-intensity refillable lipstick in the shade “I Lust For - Peachy Beige“!
I have never tried Hourglass’ lip products, so I was super excited to try this out! First off, let’s start with the packaging. It is super slim, but heavy – it’s a metal type casing that makes it look very luxurious and expensive. The inner part of the lipstick is the part that is refillable. I’ve never seen a lipstick like this before, so I was very intrigued when I heard it was refillable.

The formula is very creamy, and the smell is amazing! It is not too fragrant, but just a hint of vanilla or something similar. The lipstick is not a super long lasting lipstick, but it does wear well! It is also formulated without parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. the color is as it says, a peachy-beige and will look great on any skin tone! I swatched the product in the above photos- shown in direct sunlight (left) and indoor light (right).
As for the price of the lipstick, the gold packaging with a lipstick is $34, and the refill for the tube is $22. Sephora has 4% cash back on EBates right now, and you get $10 back when you sign up.
Now, being the frugal shopper that I am, this lipstick is a bit pricey for me with the gold tube, but the refills are pretty standard price for a high-quality lipstick so I would be okay with purchasing it at that price!
