Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a great last week before Christmas! I had a great weekend last weekend, but unfortunately, Conor and I both got a little bug on Sunday and it took most of the week to get back into the groove from that. Being sick is never fun! There will be no Beauty Mix post this week, as we are all taking a little bit of a break for the holidays, BUT don’t worry! We will be back next week with another New Year’s Eve makeup look for you all! If you missed last week’s look , you can check that out here: Gold Glitter Makeup Look for New Year’s Eve | Beauty Mix Series

Since we aren’t doing a makeup look this week, I figured I would still share a beauty related blog post with you all. Today, I am reviewing a new(ish) and highly used foundation, the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation.
I have been trying out this product for a while now, but before that, I had my eyes on it for the longest time! I had always heard great things about it and knew it was on my list to get one day! Finally, I took the plunge and bought it! It is not a super high-end product as far as cost goes, but it definitely isn’t cheap!
This foundation has been proven to stay on for 24 hours (although who needs makeup on that long anyway?)
The formula is medium to full coverage, matte finish, and is supposed to make you look flawless and natural, while still feeling lightweight and comfortable.
It’s also supposed to stay the same color (no oxidizing) and is supposed to not smudge or come off on clothes.
Proven to last through heat and humidity.
Oil-free. Oil-Controlling. Dermatologist-tested. Non-acnegenic; won’t clog pores. Fragrance-free.
Double Wear Foundation in Action
I try to change up my foundations for my Beauty Mix Series and any other makeup looks on my YouTube channel and blog, but here are a few recent looks I did using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation:
Keep in mind this one was right after my honeymoon in Hawaii so there were LOTS of freckles to cover up here! You can still see some of them through the foundation, which I prefer!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review
After using this foundation for quite some time, I see myself gravitating towards it almost every day! When I do use other foundations, they don’t quite add up to what this foundation does for me. My favorite foundation before trying this one out was the MakeUp ForEver Ultra HD Foundation in stick or liquid formula. It worked really well on my combination/oily skin, but now, when I wear it I am just not in love anymore. It still works great, but nothing I’ve tried works like the Estee Lauder Double Wear Does. It truly does what it says- it lasts all day and looks flawless!
I highly recommend trying this foundation out for yourself! It is worth the money! If you have tried it, let me know your thoughts on the foundation in the comments below! I would love to hear them!
Thanks for reading! Until next time,
