Happy Tuesday friends! With winter in full force in Wisconsin, I’m all about the cozy sweaters. I love a good cozy sweater, but what I love even more is a unique and fun statement sweater. For today’s post, I’m sharing a few tips on how to style a great statement sweater, as well as a gallery of adorable statement sweaters.
Tips on Styling Statement Sweaters
Keep Everything Else Simple – Let your statement sweater be just that, the statement of the outfit. Leave everything else classic and simple – nothing too over the top.
Choose Your Accessories Wisely – Let the sweater do the talking – I love simple dainty pieces with a statement sweater. If your sweater is more neutral, add pops of color with your bag or some fun earrings, even shoes!
If It’s Bulky – as I always say, if it’s bulky and large, then don’t wear bulky items elsewhere. Wear some skinny jeans with an oversized sweater.
