Happy Tuesday friends!! It’s been a little bit since I’ve shared a fashion post. Life has been a little crazy with our family vacation, trip to Nashville, my full time job, and trying to keep up with my personal life. I have lots of ideas for posts, but the time to execute is my issue. It’s a work and progress and will hopefully get better in the near future. I know a lot of my listeners on the radio, along with Instagram followers want to see more workwear posts, so I figured this would be a good time to talk about how to style a blazer. For those that don’t need work wear inspo, this post is also for you because I will be showing how to style it for work AND for everyday/casual.
2 Ways to Style a Blazer
WORKWEAR
Blazers are a classic workwear staple piece and I think everyone who has a business casual dress code should own one. You can wear them so many different ways, but this way is one of my favorites. If you watched my Amazon haul last fall, I found these amazing paperbag pants through my friend Kelsey (@kelclight) and LOVE them!! I like them a little more cropped too and usually use some hem tape depending on the shoes I wear with them. Animal print is always a neutral and I love adding a pop of color, so the red flats and bag complete the look. This top is from Evereve and no longer available, but I’m linking a similar one below.

CASUAL/EVERYDAY
If you remember the movie Bridesmaids with Kristen Wiig, she wore a blazer with a graphic tee so much in the movie and ever since then, I have LOVED that look! It dresses up a simple graphic tee, but is still casual enough for an everyday wear. For this look I paired the blazer with my new FRIENDS pink tee with some distressed denim and vans sneakers.

Horn Pendant | VANS Sneakers | Truffle Lipstick
BONUS: Throw on some heels with this and you’ve got a going out outfit as well.
